Good Morning! I new to propagating and am wondering what you use to feed your plant babies? Liquid fertilizer? How much? What kind? Thank you in advance! 🪴

You can really use any liquid fertilizer, and just a use a drizzle I would say. You can also pick up like grow liquid at your nearest Walmart specifically designed to help de-stress plants and help them grow!

Thank you! I have liquid fertilizer already but am not sure how much to use (one drop?) or how often?🤷🏾‍♀️

oh yeah of course!! So sorry for the late response😂 well I use liquid fertilizer once or twice every month depending on how well the plant is doing, and it depends on the pot size. If the pot is bigger, say around 10 in diameter, use around a cup and then just go smaller from there!

I just use tap water without any additives.

Does that make me a terrible person 🙀

That’s what I’ve been doing, but I know they use the oxygen in the water so I replace it often. I just want to make sure I provide my babies the best chance to show and grow! ☺️

It’s good practice to keep the water fresh. And is doesn’t stink 🤢

I think your question to fertilize at its core has to do with what are your long term goals for that particular plant. If you plant to move to soil, then I don’t think fertilizer is all that critical.

But if you are looking to keep it in water long term, then fertilizing becomes critical for the plants health.

I’m no expert, but you might look at fertilizers for aquarium or pond use. Or dive into the deep end so to speak and pop you cuttings in an aquarium.

The possibilities are endless!
