# Trying to see if this guy will grow new roots. I’ve had him four…

Trying to see if this guy will grow new roots. I’ve had him four years but this year was tough on him for some reason. I cut away all the rotten roots and took some leaves for propagation. Should I put this guy in water or soil? Or is he a lost cause?

I’ve done the same thing with my snake plant but it already had some roots… it did grow new ones tho. 🤷‍♀️  
I’d say go for it! :)

I had one recently and it rotted and I to take it apart sadly because it came apart itself. I place what was left of the it in water a few days ago. Hopefully I see some roots. Fingers crossed so sad it rotted made me sad

I recently did an experiment of snake plant cuttings and the one that was in water with a pothos did the best! Good luck

Wait a minute… You’re saying I have to put it in some water….with a different plant; Pothos  
That sounds crazy to me  
:-) but that’s what I’m going to do with my snake plant today as I have a big chunk to pull out of a pot too.  
I’m pretty sure I have pothos
