# My daughters and I rescued a clearance rack mixed pot and found this…

My daughters and I rescued a clearance rack mixed pot and found this little orange stowaway. I know it’s a moon cactus… but can I propagate from just the top like this? (There is no moon cactus in the mixed pot)

From what I know of moon cactus, they are not strong enough to exist with out being grafted. I think it had something to do with their lack of chlorophyll. Looks like you have a perfect opportunity to dive into the exciting world of plant grafting. Good lick!
