# I got this propagated little guy at a plant sale a while…

_Posted by Adelemonaide on 2024-04-11_

I got this propagated little guy at a plant sale a while back…neglected for quite a while. Had in a tiny pot, repotted…I just can’t tell how it’s doing. I’m wondering if I could successfully take it out of the pot and put it back in just water and see if the root system strengthens, then repot? I am seriously such a newborn about plants. Learning as I go. Thanks!

Well the good news is that a cactus is nothing if not resilient! It looks like it needs lots more light. I’d say at least 6 hours of bright direct light.
