Patience! And when you think you’ve waited for ages, have some more patience.

yes! its been like two months with my cutting and it just barely has roots, but progress is progress!

Patience! Like Manic1 said … it will likely take months before you see any roots.

How do you propagate it? Did you just cut it off and place it in water? Sorry if this question sounds stupid I’m new and the snake plant is one of my favs.

No your totally fine! So yes, what you do is chop off a leaf, do the upwards triangle cut and place it in water. And then wait forever for the roots to show! 😂
