Help! I was repotting my bird of paradise…and trying split the plant…these just snapped right off the roots! Will it survive??

probably not. there's no growth node. you can certainly try, but it's likely they won't survive

lol i feel your pain! as long as there's something left \& the roots are good she'll regrow, but for now she's bald

I always try putting rooting hormone and sticking the breakage in water. I’m sometimes surprised and rewarded.

If you give it a long time, maybe. Ive had roots in weird places before
