It’s time, team! Been avoiding ye old chop and prop but Rosie’s getting soooo heavy/long I’m afraid to wait. That said, where am I cutting — and what pieces get chopped and repotted?! Tell me like I’m dumb, thanks! 🙏 😅

I’d cut the main rosette off with 1–2 inches of stem attached, let it callous for a few days, then replant it in gritty succulent mix. Leave the rooted stump in the pot.. It will most likely push out pups. Any healthy leaves that come off can be propagated too. Your Rosie looks so beautiful!💕

Thank you! 🙏 she’s a beast lol — any thoughts on what to do with the lonnnng stem after the rosette/3 inch cutting? The area below rosette but above the rooted “stump”? Can I chop and repot that as well?

Of course ! \&\& Yep! If that long middle section has leaves on it, I’d keep it. You can either leave it as a bare stem and let it pup, or cut it into a few sections (each with some leaves/nodes), let the cuts callous for a few days, and then lay or plant them in gritty mix. Echeverias are pretty generous with propagation. Just don’t toss that stem until you’ve given it a chance ;)

The deed has been DONE! Rosie is in pieces (literally), and callousing with some cinnamon sprinkles just in case 🤞 stay tuned for the repot glow up 😅

The glow up ✨ TBD
