# I’m wanting to prune and propagate my philodendron. I’m only new to…

I’m wanting to prune and propagate my philodendron. I’m only new to plant care so I’m still not sure how to even tell what type of philodendron I have. I think it’s a bipinnatifidum. Any videos and articles leave too many variables to risk my beloved plant by hacking into it while it’s doing so healthy.  
Does anyone know of what I could do specifically for my exact plant? (See the photos)

You probably cut a leaf, let it callus and then put it in dirt

I’m definitely not an expert so don’t listen to me but intrusive thoughts would cut this leaf that’s leaning cause it has a nice node 😂
