# Every time I try to propagate my little succulent babies they just…

Every time I try to propagate my little succulent babies they just end up shriveling up and never grow new babies! I want more babies but I guess I’m doing this wrong. Anyone have any tips? Anything will help!

Are they in humid containers? I’ve had really great success when I use old takeout containers and cover them in the cap (with holes punched in it) or with cling wrap on top (again, with some holes poked in it)

I’ll try that! I’ve just been chucking them in a bowl with some soil and spritzing them with water, so that’ll probably help.

It depends on which succulents you are trying to propagate. Not all propagate the same way.
