Can you propagate from a stem that’s developing a new leaf? Or should I wait for the new leaf to come in first? I’d like to cut below the node where my finger is to get the pretty leaf in there lol

You can but the new leaf may die as it puts all its energy towards developing roots!

This doesn’t always happen, but for be it’s about 80% of the time!

I’ll definitely have to wait for it to come in then. Gotta start the cutting off strong!
