CODE BLUE!!!!! CODE BLUE!!! 🚑🚨

Had these 2 stragglers 🌱🌱in 💦 for 2 weeks now \& there’s only one root. She has a few nodes that in the water but I’m seeing any signs of roots.

Not sure what the are 🤔
(Google says she’s a Scindapsus 'Mayari) and rare.
I’ve seen pictures of them on a moss pole.

Thank you for your help 🪴🤗💚

They look like the standard Scindapsus Pictus Exotica.
You only need about a two inch length of root to plant the cutting. Plant the one with the root in well draining soil. Put two nodes in the soil. You can add Rooting Hormone Powder to encourage root growth.

Keep the unrooted one in water.

You should separate the nodes into smaller sections. I would chop them into 1 or 2 node pieces and prop them individually. Place those nodes in a plastic takeout container with some damp sphagnum moss and mist the moss every week or two. Keep it covered in a warm place spot with decent light. You should start seeing growth points and sprouts in about two months giver or take.
