# My Calathea Dottie starter plant is starting to wither. Does anyone…

My Calathea Dottie starter plant is starting to wither. Does anyone know why? Is it over watering or too much sun? I’ve already had to trim 3 leaves due to wilting and drying up.

She still has new leaves growing, but the old ones are starting to die.

Mine does this when humidity is low, since I put a humidifier near, she’s been happier

Make sure your not giving her tap water they r sensitive to lime in water and the leaves will crisp because of it

I hate calatheas. They are so dramatic. It’s probably too low humidity. I still have three plants but after that i’m not buying anymore 😂
