Is this a good sign??

It's been about 48 hours since I trimmed his root and stalk due to extreme yellowing and root rot, dried him, and about 24 hours-ish since he was put back into the water. He has a weird blueish green color appearing on the white of the inner stalk, and the yellow around the cut area and bottom is looking to turn green again.

Is the blue good? Do I need to cut off the rest of the trimmed part and the strongest looking root??
