I received this lovely ficus as a gift 9 months ago. I knew from the day I brought it home that he needed to be repotted, but I just didn’t get around to it.

He was losing more leaves than he was making, and had some bare stems, so yesterday was finally the day.

Note the size of the rootball vs the size of the original pot. The pot was filled with straight soil, no amendments. And originally, no drainage holes (I drilled some a month or so in). 😱 😭
