# I'm new to plants and got an Aloe Vera and a Mother of Thousands…

_Posted by Grace on 2024-11-13_

I'm new to plants and got an Aloe Vera and a Mother of Thousands potted together. They were doing great until they weren't, and I separated them thinking they were competing in the pot. My Aloe is thriving, but my Mother of Thousands has root rot and I know now that I was over watering her. Does anyone recommend propagating her or simply repotting? Or any other suggestions?

I'd repot. Rinse the roots, remove any soft or mushy. Then Spray or drench the roots downwards with 1 part peroxide 3 parts water. And repot in dry soil
