Did I use a proper amount of soil to repot my spider plant? She was pretty root bound in her pot and had a little bit of rotted leaves I had to pull off the bottom so her stem/stalk is a little exposed now. Should I add more soil to give a little more stability or do you think she’ll stabilize once her roots get acclimated?

What you have there is a dracaena! Care isn’t terribly different from a spider plant, tho. Definitely let the soil dry out between waterings.

To answer your question, a stake may be beneficial to support the stem. Regular rotating will also help. IME dracaena like to lean toward the light.

lol me too! I watch it every Christmas. I think of this scene every time I spot a leaner. 😆

Okay! Thank you for telling me what it is genuinely. I thought for the longest time it was a “snake plant” and when I saw photos I was like nonono it’s definitely not that. I thought it looked most similar to the pictures I saw of spider plants but it has a card that came with it that said dracaena but I honestly never looked it up 🤦‍♀️

Oh same, total Christmas classic. Haha it’s so fitting 😂
