To save your Gageana Aura Alocasia, provide it with excellent drainage by repotting in a chunky, well-draining soil mix, ensure it gets bright, indirect light, and fertilize regularly during the growing season. Avoid overwatering, a common cause of Alocasia rot; instead, water only when the top two-thirds of the soil feels dry.
Continue to prune any remaining dead leaves and be patient, as new growth can take time to emerge from the corm.

1\. Re-pot the Alocasia
• Remove from current soil: Gently remove the plant from its pot and try to remove as much of the old soil as possible to inspect the roots.
• Check for rot: Look for any signs of rot in the roots. If you find any, you can trim them off. o
• Use a new, well-draining soil: Pot it in a chunky aroid mix that promotes excellent airflow to the roots and prevents moisture retention. o
2\. Provide Proper Growing Conditions
• Lighting: Place the plant in a location with bright, indirect light. o
• Watering: Only water when the top two-thirds of the soil feels dry to the touch.
Overwatering is a major cause of Alocasia death. o
• Fertilizing: Alocasias are heavy feeders. During the growing season (spring and summer), fertilize regularly. o
• Humidity: Alocasias thrive on high humidity, so if your environment is dry, consider using a humidifier or placing the pot on a pebble tray filled with water.

3\. Be Patient and Prune
• Prune dead material: Continue to prune any dead or dying leaves to the base of the plant. o
• Do not give up: Alocasias can be slow to bounce back, especially after a shock.
Keep providing consistent care, and new leaves can emerge from the corm. e
4\. Monitor for Pests o
• Check for spider mites: Alocasias are very prone to spider mites, so inspect the leaves regularly for signs of pests. You can spray the leaves with water to help dislodge them.

I posted that I use chunky mix and I put moss on top for humidity. It’s 60-75% humidity. Grow light for 12 hours.

There’s nothing to prune, no leaves lol roots were good when I repotted a month ago.

Are u AI? lol I keep seeing ur posts and they look the same
