Hi guys! I got this pothos variant probably a couple months ago with the one leaf. I'm wondering if it would start growing new leaves if i put it in water? All my other pothos(golden pothos) are growing super fast and doing well. Just wondering if propagating in water would help this lil guy grow more leaves :)

Is there a stem node under the soil? You can’t propagate with only a leaf petiole and no stem. I’m thinking there probably is or after a couple of months it would be more droopy, but I can’t tell. If the stem node is buried deep it might take longer to push new growth through.

i put it in water today, and noticed that little white bit(assuming a leaf starting to grow)
do you think leaving it in water for now would be the best option?

That sure is a tiny tiny leave. 😅. Maybe you should replant it.
