When I obtained this Dracaena it had a lot of brown leaves and some leaves had brown spots on them. I cut off all the brown leaves and even some of the leaves that had spots on them but the plant just had too many brown spots it didn't say right with me. I didn't decided to cut down the whole plant and start from the base of the plant getting rid of the soil that it was in including the pot. A placed The stump including the roots and water until I can get fresh soil and a new pot for it.

Oooo thank you! I have a similar dying rescue dracaena and I was about to give up on her. So I can just cut down to the base and it might regrow if root system is intact?
