# Okay I’ve had this polka dot plant for like 3 months now and she was…

Okay I’ve had this polka dot plant for like 3 months now and she was great at first and I’m not going to lie I’ve been a bit neglectful since I’ve gotten a kitten but anyways, she started to grow individual vines that went straight up into the air to the point where they couldn’t stand straight up and her roots were sticking up out of the soil, but I have no idea what to do now, she has new growth coming out of the old vines so maybe there’s still hope? Can anyone help me start over?

I would cut it back to that center portion. If it keeps not doing well, you may want to check the roots
