# Hello! I never have any luck with these, and I know it’s not luck…

Hello! I never have any luck with these, and I know it’s not luck it’s all about balance but I always struggle with string of hearts. Looked healthy for a while but now she’s giving out wrinkly leaves and not properly formed leaves. Can anyone help? I don’t think it’s overwatering. If anyone could help or give some tips I’d be so grateful x

When mine gets wrinkly leaves that’s when I know she needs a good water ! Not all will come in perfect you can have a whole healthy string and one leaf can shrivel up 😆 I’ve been going by the “taco test” lol if it doesn’t bend or fold it’s good on water !

Thank you, the soul feels a bit damp tho! The top ones are hard when I taco test them! 😣

Then they should be fine ! If they’re hard they’ve got enough water, if they look a little dried up and flexible they need a good drink. They look great !
