Hi! 👋 Im new to this group! I rescued this Adelonema wallisii from the Lowe's clearance rack yesterday. I soaked her in distilled water first. Repotted in a craggier mix, and put her in my "recovery room" a.k.a. bathroom. This is her yesterday and today!

Maybe use soil for a tropical plant?

She is bouncing back quickly. I think i got the mix right. Even in 24 hours she is showing some life again! 😁

They are very resilient to droughts! I've let mine go a bit too far sometimes and it bounces back after a good soak! Hope it continues to improve!

Thank you! Im optimistic about her. She seems to be rebounding quickly! Planta lists her as "advanced" but I am beginning to think they rate things like AllTrails does. Haha l

Yeah i deffo wouldn't say they are advanced in any sense 😆 once their happy they pop leafs out fairly fast too

That's awesome! Im not new to this but this plant is new to me. She's next to my Rattlesnake Calethea and Lemon Lime Maranta. I appreciate the info!
