polka dot begonia help!!!
hey everyone, i just bought this polka dot begonia a couple days ago and its not doing so hot, the leaves are dying and im not sure how to fix it. This plant has been repotted, has proper drainage, and is underneath a full spectrum grow light. I don’t know why it’s dying! Please give me some recommendations!!

what should i do to fix? the soil in the pot is mainly what it came in from the nursery

First, remove the plant from the pot and remove as much soil as you can from the roots. Let the roots and remaining soil dry outside the pot.

If the roots are salvageable, repot in a more aerated mix, including perlite, and coco coir chunks, if you have them.

Check the roots to see if any are brown \& squishy. Cut those off.

If the roots arent salvageable, you can always cut the stems and propagate them to make a new, healthy root system.

along with coco coir, peat moss works really well for adding some drainage :)
