My friend has given me this potato plant (or what she says is a potato plant) to take care of for a week and I wanted to know what’s wrong with her plants based,her stems are floppy and roots reach the top of the soil,some are even beige in color. Any help?

Kinda looks way overwatered so definitely look out for fungal infections
