# What’s wrong? Why doesn’t he keep leaves/grow thick? Does he need…

What’s wrong? Why doesn’t he keep leaves/grow thick? Does he need more humidity? What? He’s been in this pot since before winter.

(I don’t usually let him dry out this much but I do sometimes forget about him and I thought I’d take a picture before watering to show an idea of the root size vs pot).

Edit to add plant so you can see before and after winter.

Brighter light is all I would say. Water once every 1 and a half weeks and full blast south facing right in the window will get along famously with pilea.
