I water mine with the micro biolife drops and it's the same ingredient and a higher dosage than bits

Ty!

Hey, Wolfen… I searched on Amazon for the microbio life drops, and nothing came up. Is there a different name for this product? If not, where did you buy this and what is the exact name of it? TIA!

My bad, it's bioLIFT. I got it from chewy.com

That’s so funny because I use the same thing! I use it to treat fungus gnats, and I think it works pretty well. I still think there needs to be someplace in Planta where people can go to find out about stuff like this rather than asking questions that hopefully someone who has the time will answer… which doesn’t always happen. Maybe we could get Planta to add another group called “tips for newbies“, or something like that.
What do you think?

I started using this cuz you posted about it. That's a good idea.

Oooohh well I hope I don't have to use it 😩

#### Lynda replied on 2025-04-13

Fungus gnats are the pits, and most people end up with them! FYI: Just be sure to have a quarantine program set up before you bring new plants into your home. That helps with not only fungus gnats, but black spot, which is even worse than fungus gnats, and other plant fungus and diseases; I wish somebody had told me that when I was a Plant newbie!

I’m buying the bio stuff you and Wofen talked about. How much do you put in your plants for the gnats?

#### Lynda replied on 2025-04-14

If I remember correctly, I used to put five drops into a gallon of water, but now I just give a good a squirt into my water can… and voilà, no more fungus gnats!

### Michelle’s Hobby commented on 2025-04-14

That’s wonderful! I’m glad I saw your post!

I wonder if I should just use it as preventative measures? 🤔😵‍💫

#### Lynda replied on 2025-04-14

As far as a preventative measure, I think Wolfen uses it, and I do, too. Just consider it cheap insurance. I’d say go for it!

### Michelle’s Hobby commented on 2025-04-14

That’s what I was thinking

Please see my reply…

I was just agreeing with you

Okay cool once or twice in the past I've seen it when I thought was a fruit fly or something in my dragons cage I assumed is bok choy and collards were attracting pests but I haven't seen any in a while and it was only like one or two back then

#### Lynda replied on 2025-04-15

If you had fungus gnats, you would definitely know because they multiply like crazy!

### 🪴 Botanical Bekka🌵 commented on 2025-04-15

Will they keep the mosquitoes away from me 😩🤣🤣

#### Lynda replied on 2025-04-15

That’s really funny, but mosquitoes aren’t a laughing matter. If I get bit, the bite swells like a baseball…😣! Fungus gnats, they’re just a pain in the tutu!
