right now i have a north facing balcony that doesn’t get much to any light at all but i should be moving to a place with more light outside, and i was wondering what kind of plants i can start to grow outside in late fall early winter, i live in zone 8b id like to grow a combination of edible plants and just plants in general if anyone has any input :))

Kale could work! Lettuces and arugula might be OK (not as frost hardy). Carrots. Fast growing herbs like parsley, cilantro. Thing is most things like light and most things don’t like frost.
