# Do seeds go bad? I had success last year with some greens seeds…

Do seeds go bad? I had success last year with some greens seeds (spinach, lettuce, kale) and this year not so much. I’ve tried inside under a grow light and outside…just rolling the dice. The only difference (besides) age is last year I used those biodegradable nursery pots and I didn’t this year. Would that make a difference too? Scratch my head here…

Seeds can go bad or just be dormant…I’d give the seeds a bit longer to grow, because I might just be a slow seed!

How did you store the seeds? If they were kept too warm they don’t normally last as long. Store them someplace cool, dry and dark until you’re ready to plant. Hope this helps!
