# I need help. I planted some seeds two weeks ago in a nursery…

I need help. I planted some seeds two weeks ago in a nursery container that allows me to put water in the bottom so the dirt can soak it up but once the dirt is damp I throw the extra water out. I have been using a heat pad to help ferment them faster but now the dirt has off white stuff on top and no sprouting.
I don’t have access to sunlight so I didn’t put a lamp as the heat pad gave instructions not to do so as it will dry out the seed. What do I do?

Use the light and the heat pad together it’s fine
If it does dry out faster that’s okay just add more water

When I start seedlings I like to leave at least a little bit of water on the bottom that way I know my starts are drinking and it tells me it’s time to water the next day or another

Also I do not like to cover my seedlings with a dome because if the mold and fuzz buildup
