I am a first time vegetable grower. And I’m not sure what is causing these white things to pop at my stems.?and my leaves and branches are turning brown.

Any advice on how to treat this tomato plant❤️

I am no expert on tomato plants but it looks like its some type of mutation making the tomato plant send out a bunch of aerial roots!
