# Hi!! So we had planted these rose bushes in our flower bed some time…

_Posted by Itsy on 2024-04-28_

Hi!! So we had planted these rose bushes in our flower bed some time ago and they were doing good. With time they started to look sad(refer to pics) we’ve been following their schedule and doing everything we can but can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong. I was wondering if anyone maybe had any ideas of what could be wrong or what we can do to help them🥲

We’ve done really well with rose bushes in the past so this has been quite stressful for us😞

Oh no! Do you know what kind they are?

They’re all hybrid tea roses

I had some if those in my front yard where it’s part sun and they almost died. I moved them out back where it’s full sun for the second half of the day and they have thrived. Do they get full sun? Like full intense TX sun? I saw you were in ElPaso so I know you’ll know what I mean.😄

Yes they get about 7-8 hours of direct sunlight haha, we have three others in the same flower bed and they’re doing amazing, I’m just worried they might be diseased and don’t want it to potentially spread to the others😞

Hopefully not! I somehow haven’t ended up with any diseased roses, yet😅, so I’m no help there, but hopefully someone with experience in that can help!❤️

You could also try rose food for them.

I’ll have to buy some and see if it spruces them up

Cut off all the dead also before fertilising and try a fungicide for roses
