Hi everyone. Recently I went to my dad’s garden, and it is extremely covered with weeds. Is there a quick way to get rid of the weeds without damaging any of the other plants, maybe over the winter?

Depends on the density of the plants you want to keep, and if you have some time, but laying down a temporary weed mat or cardboard to kill off the weeds and the rake them up once dead is a way I’ve done it before. Or you can use a hand rake if you need more precision. It’s not 100% foolproof, but can get the job done.

I’ve seen putting a gallon of vinegar, 1/4 cup dawn, 2 cups salt stir and in a spray bottle and spray it on the weeds they should be dead shortly after!
