Hello! When do you like to water outdoor plants in the HOT months? Morning, midday, or evening? I have mixed facts and would like to know from you what you think is best.

Personally, I have a water system set to water at 7 am and 7 pm for 15-30 minutes. If we’re going into a hot spell I adjust it to 30 min, when it cools back down I adjust it back to 15. I’m in Oregon. It’s worked well for my outdoor plants ☺️

I water in the evening but that’s only because a work at 6am so can’t do it before work 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣  
But I work in a garden center and we water first thing in the morning. Shouldn’t really water midday. Early morning is best

It’s best to water in the coolest parts of the day
