# After 6 days of rain this volunteer popped up in a pot where I’m…

_Posted by Mara on 2023-06-28_

After 6 days of rain this volunteer popped up in a pot where I’m propagating Asiatic Jasmine. I had no intention on growing cucumbers but I’ll give it a go, knowing fully well that it’ll have to move. I’m assuming they are English cucumbers because this is the variety I choose to eat and I’m almost certain it came from my compost tumbler. So my question is, might any of you know if it is self pollinating, as there is just the one plant?

I think most varieties are self pollinating to some extent 🙂

Ok that sounds promising.. Just want to make sure I’m not wasting my time. Thanks!
