Has anyone had luck with growing a dieffenbachia in water? I’ve heard that they don’t do great but mine has been having issues and I’m hoping taking it out of soil would fix that

I need to seriously propagate mine because it's massive, I have the same question how to do that is water proven to be a problem? 😩
