# i just took my peace lily out of the store nursery pot and thought…

i just took my peace lily out of the store nursery pot and thought the roots looked really good and could maybe grow this in water. i have liquid fertilizer in the water but are there any other tips on growing in water? i’ve never planted this way before.

Change the water no less than once a week. If you don’t change the water enough, it won’t have enough oxygen and will lead to root rot.

liquid fertilizer is not the same as hydroponics fertilizer.

appreciate you saying this because i woke up wondering if it’s gonna actually work with normal plant fertilizer 🤣 do you have a fertilizer that you’d recommend?
