# Does Planta adjust watering schedules if you are constantly having to…

Does Planta adjust watering schedules if you are constantly having to snooze. Im constantly having to put watering on snooze. I love this app but getting tired of having to check plants when they don’t need it. I have a lot of plants.

I don’t think it does, but you can go into any plant’s settings and click on ‘custom care’ and turn on custom care settings and set the watering schedule to whatever you’d like!

I’ve not tried that setting yet. I was a little nervous thinking that Planta was smarter than me and I would do damage. But I’m going to start watching my plants I have to snooze a lot and try this.

When I hit snooze it asks me follow-up questions like “is it because the soil is still wet? This will adjust the watering schedule” or you can choose “other reason” \& it won’t adjust. I also have the Beta tester option turned on for my profile so you may need to do that to see these options.

I do hit snooze and answer the question. I just wasn’t sure it would adjust the timing after that. And I have all questions about my plants filled out. It just seems like it is telling me to water or fertilize too soon a lot.

You can check how Planta has adjusted the schedules!

Settings -> Plant care -> Adjusted schedules

Yes and on the note, I experience similar where it tries to get me too over water however that said... I own a few plants with very mature roots... And it wants me to treat them like a cactus and never water! 😆 So I gave those ones all sphagnum because I'm tired of having to water every 3 days when the app says 20 😆 so yeah I think of the app as more of a journal and calendar too track and reminder too not miss things. But I definitely have to go manually check everyone I haven't been able to rely strictly on the app either..
