# hi i’m not sure what to do with my plant, the soil is constantly damp…

hi i’m not sure what to do with my plant, the soil is constantly damp but my leaves keep drying up, it’s in the sunlight, do i move it somewhere with more shade and do i need to cut the dead leaves off?

The humidity in that area is probably very low, calatheas like 60% and above humidity. I would cut off all the dead stems and get a humidifier, they also don’t like direct sunlight

Also calatheas do not like sunlight (direct sunlight) the sun rays scorch their leaves, they like bright to medium indirect light

She looks burnt! Take her out of direct sun
