I live in Florida and it dropped below freezing and I forgot about my plant! How do I take care of it and what do I chop for it to grow back?! That one leaf looks alive but the stem is mushy.

I would suggest cutting off the leaves that are drooping

I am so sorry this happened to your Monstera!! It is important now to keep it in a nice warm sunny space inside free of any drafts. Due to the shock from the cold, it’s at a high risk of being overwatered so be very careful when watering, make sure the soil dries out between waterings. It will also help to increase the humidity around it with some extra misting or humidifier.

So sorry for this. I had a similarly experience last winter. I would recommend cutting off any tissue that’s mushy. It won’t recover. If parts of the stem are mushy in the center and there is healthy tissue on both sides, now you have 2 monstera. It can recover over the next growing season, but none of the damaged tissue will recover. It will have to grow new
