Anyone have any experience with these pepperomia watermelon plants 🤔🪴 it's so amazing I feel like I need it in my life, but I was watching a video that said they were hard to take care of, and I'm not a fan of losing plants so maybe I ask first this time lol 🙏🤷‍♀️😁

I feel like some people have a harder time with pepperomias than others. Potentially because of differing climates. If you live nearby a plant store the watermelon is quite common, so you won’t have to deal with shipping damage/additional stress, which could kill it.
Just know that the watermelon is not typically as vibrant as in that photo. They’re typically edited to look perfect.

Thank you for all of that I've been watching videos on houseplants that do well in dark areas because my windows are getting crowded and that was one of the ones that recommended for the dark 🥴🙄

I would say 6-8 hours of moderate/bright indirect light for this one. I keep mine under a Sansi light, but behind a small monstera adansonii so it doesn’t get too much light. Unsure if that works for where you are. As it gets bigger it might be more tolerant

I’m on my second. I don’t remember how the first one died, but this one tried to die over fall/winter and then started making a comeback a month or so ago

Okay so if this plant's going to tolerate the shade it's going to be once it's a mature plant not a baby? I think I'm going to give it a go I found it on marketplace so I don't have to have it shipped 🙏🌱🫶
