# Any way to know whether these brown tips are from under or over…

Any way to know whether these brown tips are from under or over watering?! I had mistakenly repotted with compost in spring, tried to undo and use potting soil in autumn. So it might be dryer than it was used to?! But everything seems to say Dragon Trees are more susceptible to being over than under watered. The holes are so tiny at the bottom I can’t tell if the soil there is damp

It may be burn from the compost as well. And not a water issue

I think it only appeared after I repotted it? So it seemed ok in the compost for a good few months weirdly?!

The burn isn't always immediate from fertilizer. But if you're sure it happened after repotting it's root may have not been uptakimg as much water after repotting than

Could also be because of low humidity.
