Hi!! I’m kind of new to the plant mom life and was wondering if you all could help me out. My peacock plant has recently developed little brown spots all over her leaves. What could’ve caused this and is there anything I can do to prevent it?

Are you watering with tap water? These are very sensitive to stuff in tap water.

I have been using tap water. Thank you!! What should I use instead?

You can treat the tap water like you would for a fish tank, or used filtered, or collect rain water. Hope it helps!

You could also use distilled water. That’s what I do. It’s like $1 for a gallon at any grocery store.

Are you giving it enough humidity?? Could be that, and don’t put in direct sunlight. It could burn the leaves.

I don’t keep her directly in the window so I don’t think she has burnt leaves. I’ve read about how humidifier helps so I’ll probably start using my humidifier.
