# Help! This croton’s leaves are drooping and beginning to turn yellow.…

Help! This croton’s leaves are drooping and beginning to turn yellow. I know he’s been overwatered. I’m replanting and so worried I’m going to lose him. Any advice? I’ve always had a black thumb and I’m trying to mend my ways.

Mine went into shock. But it came back once it was in the right environment. I would replant asap.

I just repotted in a slightly larger pot. Added fresh potting soil and now he’s recovering in a cool dry window. Commence prayer!

Crotons like full direct sun fyi. It can’t drink the water if it doesn’t get appropriate light, so probably why its staying wet for too long.

Oh my. Good to know. I’m going to change his cool, indirectly lit window right now!
