# Hello everybody I’m seeing new growth on my alocasia, I bought it…

Hello everybody I’m seeing new growth on my alocasia, I bought it with one of the leaves already having fallen off, leaving a leafless stem that leaks water and sags away from the plant, whenever I water it, it leaks water from where the leaf used to be, should I keep the stem or cut it off? Any tips tricks or advice is appreciated!!

You’ll notice that with this plant when a new leaf is coming up the oldest leaf dies off.
