Seeing a lot of of conflicting info on watering or not after repotting. Any thoughts?

I repot after wetting medium. Makes the soil/plant roots more malleable and easier to remove from the pot. I then thoroughly water so the new soil settles around the old soil/roots. I rarely run into overwatering issues from one week of extra water and I break less roots this way.

I water after repotting unless it’s a cactus and succulent. Those I give a week or two to recover before watering

I water as soon as I repot, every single time. I thought that’s what I was supposed to do. Haven’t had any issues with this method. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I water 1-2 days after repotting (but I check the soil first because most times it’s pretty damp). I also water 1-2 days before repotting.

Thanks everyone! Looks like people have success either way. So I waited a few days and then watered. So far so good!
