# Hello, newbie plant mom here! I recently got this cutting as a gift…

Hello, newbie plant mom here! I recently got this cutting as a gift and it has grown so much! She said it was a pale puma! When I looked up pictures of it fully grown, it’s seems to typically be bushier. Should I do anything differently to fill it out more? Or is it normal for it to be so tall and leggy? Thanks!

Hello! Looks like you’ve been taking great care of it 😊 It’s normal for it to look tall like this if it’s only one cutting. If you’re going for a bushier look, you can take a cutting of this guy just under a node (the little line/bump beneath a leaf) and propagate it! Many propagate in water. Once it grows roots, you can repot it back into the pot, and repeat as needed for a bushier plant!
