Anybody understand why Pothos will rarely grow new leaves not from the ends? I have this Pothos I propagated and started growing leaves off nodes that lost leaves. Why??

Get it a bigger pot first it will start outing energy into making more roots then it will probably grow more leaves up top but also try clipping it.
