Will these roots assist with propagation if i plant the pups? I heard they are air roots but wondering if it will act the same as regular roots when planted..

I don’t think that cacti have aerial roots except for ones that can grow on trees. I have had luck plopping those right on soil and keeping it moist.

Thanks! Your response gives me some relief, ill be doing just that. The mother plant seems to be having an issue at its base that im also curious about, i wonder if you notice it.
