# Hello! I’m new here I recently got a fiddle leaf fig and I’m trying…

Hello! I’m new here I recently got a fiddle leaf fig and I’m trying to be a good plant mom. I’ve heard to water once a week and mist daily. I’m doing that but I noticed one of the leaves are getting brown.. how do I fix that? And do you guys have any other tips?

Misting a flf doesn’t really help it outside of washing off the leaves. As for watering, indoors, you can do once every 10ish days. I also suggest moving this somewhere brighter if it’s indoors. It’ll thrive in a sunny southern window or if outside, a north facing wall where it’s hidden by any direct Sun light. It’s probably getting a little over watered in your home because the location is dark.

Once Fittle leaf figs get brown leaves cut them off they are dead. And ya give it more sun and less water.
