# Should I be trimming off crispy leaves or just leaving them? I’m also…

Should I be trimming off crispy leaves or just leaving them? I’m also not sure why they’re crisping up like this. This is a new plant for me gifted by a friend who opened a plant shop so I’m just doing what the app tells me as far as misting and watering. She is a pink princess philodendron, split into 2 pots 💖 placed in our kitchen near our south facing sliding door but out of any direct light.

I would say she wants more humidity, or doesn’t like your tap water. You can get filtered water or leave tap sitting out overnight before using.
